Passport required.
- Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be
  valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the period of
  intended stay. 
 - Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be
   valid for a minimum of 3 months beyond the period of
   intended stay when arriving at Basra (BSR). 
 - Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be
   valid on arrival when arriving at Erbil (EBL) or
   Sulaymaniyah (ISU).  
Admission and Transit Restrictions:

- Admission and transit is refused to nationals of Israel

  arriving at Baghdad (BGW), Basra (BSR), Mosul (OSM) or Najaf
  (NJF). 
- Passengers with a handwritten passport are not allowed to
  enter.

Visa required, except for Passengers with a signed and stamped
letter issued by the Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan
Regional Government if arriving at Erbil (EBL) and
Sulaymaniyah (ISU)  
Visa required, except for Passengers arriving at Baghdad
(BGW), Basra (BSR) or Najaf (NJF) whose passport states Iraq
as place of birth. They must have an original and official
Iraqi document with the same name as on the passport.
Visa required, except for Passengers married to a national of

Iraq arriving at Najaf (NJF) for a maximum stay of 3 months.
They must have an original Iraqi marriage certificate or an

approved marriage certificate issued by an Iraqi embassy. 

Visa Issuance:
Visa required, except for Passengers with a proof of being of
Iraqi origin or having Iraqi parents can obtain a visa on
arrival. They must have an original and official Iraqi
document with the same name as on the passport.

- Passengers with a visa issued in paper format are not
  allowed to enter Najaf (NJF). 
Warning:
- Passengers who have visited Congo (Dem. Rep.), Guinea,
  Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal and Sierra Leone within 3 months
  prior to arrival in Iraq are subject to screening and health
  check. Exempt are holders of diplomatic passports.
